In the context of my PhD, focused on the development of new sustained ocular drug delivery systems (SDDS), three different formulations were developed: extruded and molded inserts, freeze-dried inserts and three nanomicelles-based formulations (eye-drops, solid inserts, and in situ gelling systems).
