International audienceThe purpose of this article is to provide a gendered interpretation of transnational commerce migration, drawing on an empirical study of Tunisian women who practice frequent buying journeys in Naples, Italy. Analysing transnational trade from a gender perspective enables to consider women's lives not only in light of their multiple social positions, but also in light of the multiple spaces they connect each other through their migratory movements. Tunisian traders' mobility practices and their specific ‘know-how to circulate' display their gender belonging and positioning.
