This paper analyzes the websites of four candidates in the 2008 presidential primaries and compares them to the websites of prior presidential campaigns. It also attempts to elucidate the meaning of the introduction of social networks in political campaigns.Les sites de quatre candidats aux élections primaires lors de la campagne présidentielle 2008 sont analysés dans cette contribution. Après les avoir comparés aux sites de campagne d'élections présidentielles antérieures aux États-Unis et fait ressortir les invariants structuraux, cette étude tente d'élucider le sens et la portée de l'insertion des réseaux sociaux sur les sites de campagne électorale en ligne
