The intermetallic based on rare earth and transition metal compounds present interesting magnetic properties for the technological applications (permanent magnets, magnetic recording,...). This work is dedicated to the study of the structural and magnetic properties of nanocrystalline PrCo(3-x)Fex, described in the PuNi3 type structure. The nanocrystalline state leads to optimize the extrinsic roperties, it has been obtained by high energy milling technique following by subsequent annealing. The compound PrCo3-xFex presents a very high uniaxial magnetocrystalline anisotropy, a very important magnetization and a coercive field of 12 kOe at room temperature and 55 kOe at T = 10 K.
