The Correlating Parenting With Parents Of Students Major Interests Of Conformity STIKes PATRIA HUSADA BLITAR

Abstract: Choosing the departement is important for things students for the future. In this case the decision making was influenced by the parents. This study aimed to parenting parents relationship with the suitability of interest student departement 4 and 6 in STIKes Husada Patria Blitar. Using a cross sectional study design, with independent variable patterns of parenting and the dependent variable is the interest of students. Of 47 students population, with 22 students of purposive sampling. The result showed respondents have parenting parents authoritarian democracy 12 people and 10 people, where with high student interest in choosing majors that 18 % (4 people). Spearman Rho test showed significant value = 0,044, where α ≤ 0.05 means that there is a relationship between parenting parents with students departement conformity interest. Parents are expected to apply the appropriate parenting to be able to streer teens in choosing the subject. Keywords : parenting parents, his late teens, Interests majors
