ニホンナシ新品種 \u27秋麗\u27

Shuurei\u27 is a mid-maturing, smooth skin type new cultivar of Japanese pear (Pyrus pyrifolia Nakai) released in the year 2000 by the National Institute of Fruit Tree Science, National Agriculture and Bio-oriented Research Organization. It originated from crossing \u27Kousui\u27 and \u27Chikusui\u27 in 1982. It was selected as a promising tree in 1991, and had been subjected to the 6th local adaptability test as Nashi Tsukuba 46, conducted at 39 experimental stations of 37 prefectures in Japan. It was designated and registered as Nashi Norin 21 on October 25, 2000, and also registered as No.11119 under the Seeds and Seedlings Law of Japan on March 17, 2003. The tree vigor is intermediate. It produces medium amount of spur and axillary flower bud. It blooms late, two to three days later than \u27Syuugyoku\u27. It is crossincompatible with \u27Chikusui\u27 and \u27Akizuki\u27, but compatible with other leading Japanese pear cultivars. It ripens almost at the same time as \u27Syuugyoku\u27. There is no serious problem of diseases and insect pest under the standard spraying program. The fruit is oblate in shape. It has a good appearance when grown with paper bag otherwise it develops medium amount of russet on the surface. The average fruit weight is about 350g, a little smaller than \u27Syuugyoku\u27. The flesh is soft and has flavor, and the sugar content is high with low acidity
