Estrategias Metodológicas para la Formación del Pensamiento Científico en los Estudiantes de la Facultad de Ingeniería

The purpose of this investigation is tocontribute to the development of the mentalcapacities as base for the formation of the scientificand research thought in the student.It is to apply and to evaluate strategies framedin a pedagogic model that strengthens theestablishment of cognitive tools for the access tothe scientific and research phenomenon’s, on thepart of the student.The research consists of the following stages:the initial diagnoses, to characterize the levelof development of the thought in the students,the application of a special didactic starting fromthe design of specific instruments and a finaltest, to evaluate the evolution in thedevelopment and use of the thought tools, untilfinding a fundamental model that allows toarchieve the purpose: to contribute to theformation of the scientific thought in theengineering students.El propósito de esta investigación es contribuircon el desarrollo de las capacidades mentales, comobase para la formación del pensamiento científico einvestigativo en el estudiante.Se trata de aplicar y evaluar estrategiasenmarcadas en un modelo pedagógico quefortalezca el establecimiento de herramientascognitivas para el acceso a los fenómenos científicose investigativos, por parte de los estudiantes.De esta manera la investigación consta de lassiguientes etapas: El diagnóstico inicial, paracaracterizar el nivel de desarrollo del pensamientoen los estudiantes, la aplicación de una didácticaespecial a partir del diseño de instrumentos específicosy una prueba final, para evaluar la evolución y uso delas herramientas de pensamiento, hasta encontrarun modelo fundamental que permita lograr elpropósito: contribuir a la formación del pensamientocientífico en los estudiantes de Ingeniería
