At times, when dealing with social media, it can be difficult to understand exactly where the information is being transmitted from. A user is likely at times to lack clarity in terms of the source of information. So, what happens when that information authority is exposed? Specifically, what happens when one judges the credibility of a story without knowing its authority, then judges again after the authority is exposed. Does it lessen, or increase? Further, what happens with the exposed authority is extremely poor authority? This poster session will explore those questions, specifically regarding the college students the researchers surveyed before and after authority was exposed
