The towers complex of the University of North Alabama was completed on North Pine Street in 1967 and is composed of two major residence halls connected by a central dining room. Rice Hall was named in memory of Septimus P. Rice, president of the university, 1873 - 1881. Rivers Hall was named in memory of R. H.
