Bu çalışmada epoksi reçine ile modifiye edilen bitümler üzerinde kısa süreli yaşlanmanın etkisi araştırılmıştır. Saf bitüm üzerinde epoksi reçinenin etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla B 70/100 sınıfı bitüm ve dört farklı oranda (%0,75 - %1,0 - %2,0 ve %3,0) epoksi reçine kullanılarak hazırlanan modifiye bağlayıcılar üzerinde standart deneyler (penetrasyon, yumuşama noktası, düktilite, Fraas kırılma noktası ve özgül ağırlık) uygulanmıştır. Dönel İnce Film Halinde Isıtma (RTFO) yöntemiyle yaşlandırılmış saf ve modifiye bağlayıcılardan elde edilen numuneler üzerinde yaşlanmanın etkisi tespit edilmiştir.
