The Use of Fishbowl Strategy toward the Improvement of Students’ Speaking Skill at the Second Grade Students of MA DDI pattojo Soppeng

The instrument used in this research was test. The test was used in the pre-test and post-test. The data indicated that there were a significant difference between the students’ post-test in the experimental class and post-test in the control class. The mean score of the post t est (77) in the experimental class was higher than the mean score on the post -t est (65) in control class. The standard deviation on the post-test (10,43) in the experimental class and the standard deviation of the post-test in control class (11,12). From t he t-test, the researcher found that t he value of the t-test (3.51) was higher than t he t-table (2.042) at t he level of significant 0.05 with degree of freedom (df) = 38. Based on the finding and discussion of the research, the researcher concluded t hat using Fishbowl Strategy was effective t o improve students’ speaking skill
