Combined usage of physical factors and drug therapy in the treatment of dystrophic ophthalmopathology

The problems of epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of dry form of age-related macular degeneration are considered in the article. 225 patients with this disease along with concomitant intraocular pathology (primary open-angle glaucoma, complicated myopia of I-II degree) were examined. The mean age is 69.1 ± 5.9 years, the average duration of the disease from the moment of diagnosis is 4.2 ± 1.3 years. All patients were divided into two groups: the main group and the comparison group. In the main group, the use of the drug from the group of neuropeptides was carried out by introducing a collagen sponge impregnated with Retinalamin into the Tenon space. In the comparison group, by subconjunctival injection. Both groups were divided into subgroups A and B. Subgroup A included patients with an early stage of the disease, subgroup B with an intermediate form of the disease. As a result of the study, the most rational combinations of neuroprotective and physiotherapy, which resulted in the stabilization of visual functions, were identified.В статье рассмотрены проблемы эпидемиологии, диагностики и лечения сухой формы возрастной макулярной дегенерации. Обследовано 225 больных, страдающих данным заболеванием наряду с сопутствующей интраокулярной патологией (первичная открытоугольная глаукома, осложненная миопия I—II степени). Средний возраст — 69,1±5,9 года, средняя продолжительность заболевания от момента диагностики заболевания — 4,2±1,3 года. Все пациенты были разделены на две группы: основную и группу сравнения. В основной группе применение препарата из группы нейропептидов осуществлялось путем введения коллагеновой губки, пропитанной Ретиналамином, в теноново пространство. В группе сравнения — путем субконъюнктивальных инъекций. Обе группы были разделены на подгруппы А и В. Подгруппа А включала в себя пациентов с ранней стадией заболевания, подгруппа В — с промежуточной формой заболевания. В результате исследования были выявлены наиболее рациональные сочетания нейропротекторной и физиотерапии, приводящие к стабилизации зрительных функций
