PENERAPAN GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE LEMBAGA AMIL ZAKAT (STUDI KASUS PADA POS KEADILAN PEDULI UMMAT SURABAYA)

Research on Accountability Amil Zakat Institution aims to find accountability in an amil zakat institutions. Accountability is required by the Institute Amil Zakat because with the accountability of the public confidence will be high on amil zakat institutions that will reduce social inequalities between communities. The method is carried out by researchers in this study is to use the method kualititif with a case study approach. This approach was made because the active involvement of the researcher becomes a necessity in researching this phenomenon. Research subjects who used the study by researchers is amil zakat institutions namely Pos Keadilan Peduli Ummat(PKPU) Surabaya, because by amil zakat institutions are the institutions that manage the funds entrusted by donors to help communities in need. This study shows the results Praise be to Allah Postal Fairness Caring Ummah (PKPU) Surabaya can be said to be amil zakat institutions accountable, because the Pos Keadilan Peduli Ummat (PKPU) Surabaya has guarantee rights and to equal treatment of funders, open involvement of stakeholders , do the reporting and transparency, and a system of internal control of the Postal Fairness Caring Ummah (PKPU) Surabaya. Limitations experienced by investigators in conducting this study is the short time owned by the researcher and the density of time owned by the participants so that the information obtained by researchers is not so maximum, apart from that there is limited literature-the literature on accountability of an amil zakat institutions.
