PENGARUH KEPEMILIKAN MANAJERIAL, KEPEMILIKAN INSTITUSIONAL, KEPEMILIKAN PUBLIK, DAN UKURAN PERUSAHAAN TERHADAP KEBIJAKAN DIVIDEN

Dividend is the distribution of company profits to investors as a form of stock returns has been invested into the company. Sometimes, a company must consider the distribution of dividends to investors. Dividend policy is a decision of the considerations about the distribution profits. These considerations as to whether the company's profit earned will be distributed to investors in the form of dividends or will be retained in the form of retained earnings for reinvestment companies.This study aimed to determine the influences of managerial ownership, institusional ownership, public ownership, and firm size on dividend policy in banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2011-2015. Dividend policy is dependent variable while managerial ownership, institusional ownership, public ownership, and firm size are independent variable. There are 70 samples using purposive sampling method and data used are secondary data. The data were analyzed by using multiple linier regression analysis. The result of this research showed that institusional ownership, public ownership, and firm size have a significant effect on dividend policy, while managerial ownership has no significant effect on dividend policy. To get better research result, further researches may add other variable that influences on dividend policy and use other than banking companies.
