This Bachelor’s thesis provides a new view on the poem The Divine Comedy written by Italian poet Dante Alighieri by analyzing it through the framework of Maurice Blanchot’s literary essay The Gaze of Orpheus based on the Greek myth Orpheus and Eurydice.
