The nexus between entrepreneur skills and successful business:a decompositional analysis

Entrepreneurship, which then began as a concept in 1700s, has now become a buzzword. Specifically, the concept has been practically spread over all sectors of the economy, and across countries and regions; Pakistan is not an exception. Today, although the notion of entrepreneurship is more or less understandable, the measurement is not. Equally true, what impact the entrepreneurship skills has on business success is not widely known, let alone empirically measured. It is for this reason the present study is conducted. The results obtained in this study lead to a number of implications; policy, theoretical and empirical. In relation to policy, marble manufacturing units depend on entrepreneur skills; top among which is the resiliency skill. Second, in reference to theoretical and empirical, the results of this study have contributed to the advancement of theory and understanding of entrepreneurship, as well as provided empirical evidence to support the theory at large.
