Ecosystem services in coastal Phragmites wetlands at the southern Baltic Sea: nutrient regulation, water purification and erosion control

Coastal wetlands can provide a variety of ecosystem services such as protection against coastal erosion, pollutant buffering or nutrient regulation. Biological, physical and chemical processes in coastal wetlands need to be studied in order to understand how such services are supplied and might change under human influences.
