Primjenom testa mikronukleusa i testa lomljivosti kromatida istraženi su genotoksički učinci pušenja na genom ljudskih limfocita u spontanim in vivo uvjetima i γ-zračenjem induciranim in vitro uvjetima. Nadalje je učinjena procjena utjecaja spola na oštećenost genoma te procjena razlika u radioosjetljivosti. Testom mikronukleusa utvrđen je statistički značajno veći stupanj oštećenja genoma pušača od stupnja oštećenja genoma nepušača. Utjecaj spola nije pronađen. Testom lomljivosti kromatida utvrđeno je da se broj lomova po stanici, kao i broj stanica s lomom, između pušača i nepušača statistički značajno ne razlikuju. Velike individualne razlike u radioosjetljivosti dobivene testom mikronukleusa nisu potvrđene testom lomljivosti kromatida. ...
