Beton je građevinski materijal otporan na požar, a promjene koje se događaju na betonskim uzorcima pri visokim temperaturama ovise o sastavu betona te o razini temperature. U radu je ispitan utjecaj visokih temperatura na uzorke samozbijajućeg laganog betona s dodacima recikliranog betona, silikatne prašine i metakoalina. Uzorci betona cilindričnog oblika, stari dvije godine, izloženi su temperaturama od 100°C, 300°C, 500°C i 700°C. Nakon izlaganja visokim temperaturama na uzorcima je određena tlačna čvrstoća, dinamički modul elastičnosti kao i promjena mase.
