A vehicle simulator concept for evaluating new vehicle techniques anddrivers perception of the new technique is described. The simulator is based on a motionplatform and is able to simulate fairly normal driving. A virtual environment connecteda dynamic vehicle model are used to combine sound, vision and motion to give thea realistic feeling of driving a car. Some examples of driving tests are described
