Introducing modern CAE software in the classical engineering education is a delicate task. It is always a balance of making sure the student understand the underlying physics and working method of the software as well as giving them the skills so operate it. In this paper it is described how modern Computational Fluid Dynamics software was successfully introduced into the engineering education at Chalmers University of Technology.
