Carbon Footprint analysis of organic Spanish and conventional Austrian cucumbers

Based on a field research in Spain and prior reports, this study compares the environmentalimpact of cucumber production and import. Calculations for this impact are measured bycarbon footprint and are based on the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) method as well as onthe LCA actor analysis.
