This database is a comprehensive compilation of hundreds of published accounts of the use of apparent soil electrical conductivity (ECa) at the field and landscape scales with electrical resistivity (ER) or electromagnetic induction (EMI) sensors to measure a variety of soil properties. Version 1.0 of the database lists nearly 470 studies where ECa was used to measure, map, and/or monitor several soil properties, either directly or indirectly. The directly measured soil properties are: salinity – including total dissolved solids, sodicity, inorganic C, CaCO3, and nutrients (237 studies); water content – including macropore porosity, water table depth, and irrigation canal seepage (105 studies); texture-related – including sand, clay, depth ...
