The Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) is a phenomenon that has become more and more acknowledged in the recent years due to the rise in popularity of social media sites and applications. However only few studies are available related to this topic. A sample of n=78 students (19-30 years old) was used to study different characteristics proposed by a conceptual framework. This framework was created from a literature review. A Self-report questionnaire was created to assess the demographics, personality traits, mindfulness, Internet addiction, the need to be connected and FoMO.
