Research question: how do tourists in a shooting location and heritage site attribute meaning to the city’s mediatized places? what role do tour guides play in shaping tours that are recalled on Tripadvisor? Data was gathered from the TripAdvisor website (www.tripadvisor.com) in October 2016. Tourists’ online narratives (in English) about GOTDT were identified, copied, numbered and organised for content analysis. The sample selection criterion was based on timeframe (between May and September 2016)
