Data described the effect of different political stimuli on the expression of prejudice of left and right-wing participants. Analysis revealed that left-wing participants expressed higher bias compared to right-wing ones, regardless of the stimuli. Right-wing participants expressed the bias only when ideological words were presented. The process that lead to this expression of political intergroup bias seems mediated by a different perception of threat that is higher for left-wing participants.
