Countermeasures of auxiliary and diesel motors in the process of operation and repair or in working on board especially in the engine room. Each of it will has a positive and negative aspects. With so many new technologies, people make their work easier. But such changes can also have a negative impact on workers and companies. especially in terms of occupational safety. Due to the lack of skill of the ship's crew and awareness in occupational safety. Safety work in the world of shipping is very important because the risk of accidents is very high. This is one of the programs made by workers and workers in an effort to prevent the occurrence of work accidents. By identifying the potential for workplace accidents and anticipatory action in the event of an accident. This research uses observation, interview, and literarture review method by using data analysis technique of strengths, waeknesses, oppotunities, and threats (SWOT) that is systematic identification of various factors which aim to reveal facts, condition, phenomenon, varible and situation that happened when research run and give data as it is so that in this research get the actual research result that happened in MV. Hijau Sejuk. The result of research show that accident in work because of human error whose doesn‘t have awarnes, the bad habbit inclined collide procedures until something accident in work field. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the causes of crew work accident. And any effort to prevent accidents in order to achieve safe working process. And it does not hamper the operation of the aircraft on board and does not restrict the voyage of the ship. In the implementation of the identification can be obtained the sources of hazards and effects caused, and the results can be used to find alternative improvements so that accidents can be reduced.
