This report shows the results of an exercise in the studio “Environmental approaches to sustainable building” in the master’s programme “Design for Sustainable Development” given by the dept. of Architecture at Chalmers University of Technology, G\uf6teborg, Sweden. The theme of the exercise is the integration of solar energy, mainly PV:s, on the Chalmers’’ campus, in which three buildings have been selected. The aims of the exercise is are four; i) to find areas for gaining as much solar energy as possible, ii) to find areas on which new solar components can be demonstrated and tested, iii) to make the integration a symbol for Chalmers as a university focusing on sustainable development, both for students and for the public, iv) to investi...
