The purpose of this paper is to investigate what are primary reasons to motivate guests to leave on-line comments. The first part of the research tries to define how much impact traditional word of mouth and electronic word of mouth have on guests in hospitality industry according to the previous research and literature. The paper then focuses on explaining positive and negative sides of leaving comments and it seeks to answer the question: What motivates guests to leave a comment about their overall experiences? The second section of the paper defines what methods and materials were used to make this descriptive type of research and what is the possible answer to the research question according to the author’s interpretation.
