This thesis presents a study of intersubband lifetime of electrons in unipolar quantum wells under strong magnetic field. We evidenced quantum oscillations of the intersubband lifetime as a function of magnetic field named Intersubband Magnetophonon Resonance. The oscillations, periodic with reciprocal of magnetic field, are detected by measuring GaAs/GaAlAs quantum cascade lasers emission intensity under pulsed magnetic field up to 60T. This experiment provides a direct evidence of the “phonon bottleneck” effect by the detection of periodic blockage of the emission of longitudinal optic phonons by excited electrons.
