The work presented in this thesis deals with the problem of optimal control of discrete-time system by means of dynamic programming methods. A particular formulation of functional equation is considered. This problem leads us to consider the problem of the controllability of nonlinear discrete-time systems, also denoted here by input-state inversion problem. The problem has been carried out in two stages. The first stage is concerned with the analysis of the problem of controllability. We present different approaches for study of the controllability of systems: composition of function, differential geometry and differential algebra.
