One of the most promising solution to the challenge of processing power increase consists in creating Grids. Nevertheless, their use in an optimal way has not been reached because of complexity of such a support. This thesis focuses on one of the issues inherent in the grid concept, which is the grid resource management. We demonstrate that this problem can be dealt by applying economic paradigms from real-life to the resource management issue. We define an economic model that enables to manage processors that belong to a computational grid. The purpose of this model is to associate a cost with each host. Scheduling can thus be assmilated to a non-linear optimization problem under constraints, with integer variables. The choice of executing...
