Intermolecular complex formation through hydrogen bonding between poly(itaconic acid), partially neutralized and non-neutralized, and polyacrylamide was studied by potentiometry. The complexes were obtained by template polymerization of itaconic acid and partially neutralized itaconic acid on polyacrylamide as a template.
