Two situations selfish behavior of the agents in the communication networks are considered in the context of game theory. The first situation concerns communication networks using a distributed routing based on autonomous agents. We study the convergence properties of the best responses in a dynamic routing game on parallel links. The game involves a finite number of agents, each deciding how its traffic is routed on the links to minimize his own cost. We propose the use of the generalized spectral radius of the Jacobian matrices of the best response operator to demonstrate convergence.
