The enzymatic hydrolysis of lignocellulosic biomass is a promising approach for the bioconversion of organic matter into fermentable sugars aiming ultimately to produce second generation biofuel. Globally, enzymatic cocktails, containing different activities which are characterized by their specific mechanisms, are used as biocatalysts.
