U sklopu europskog projekta „Urban Geochemistry in Europe (URGE)–Soil, Childern, Health“, čiji je cilj geokemijsko kartiranje određenih europskih gradova pomoću jedinstvenih metoda te izrada geokemijske karte urbanog tla za različite kemijske elemente, kao grad predstavnik Republike Hrvatske odabran je grad Sisak. U širem području grada odabrana su tri pedološka profila (profili PR 3, PR 4 i PR 5) na kojima su provedena terenska i laboratorijska istraživanja. Ukupno je analizirano petnaest uzoraka (šest iz profila PR 3, šest iz profila PR 4 te 3 iz profila PR 5).
