Ovaj rad istražuje podrijetlo autopredodžbi i heteropredodžbi Židova i židovstva, smještajući se u uvjete Drugog svjetskog rata kroz prizmu strip romana Maus autora Arta Spiegelmana, pripadnika druge generacije Židova, žrtava holokausta. Rad nastoji istražiti u kojoj mjeri fizičke, moralne i intelektualne diskurzivne kostrukcije kulturnih i nacionalnih identiteta određuju njihovu sudbinu.This thesis explores the origins of autoperceptions and heteroimages of Jews and Judaism, by putting them into the context of World War II through the prism of the comic novel Maus authored by Art Spiegelman, who was a member of the second generation of Jewish victims of the Holocaust. The work seeks to explore the extent to which physical, moral and intellectual discursive constructions of cultural and national identity determine their fates
