SOLVING OF FRACTURE MECHANICS PROBLEMS USING ANSYS SOFTWARE

U radu su predstavljena objašnjenja osnovni pojmovi mehanike loma, analize problema mehanike loma (analitički i numerički), osnovni pojmovi vezani uz metodu konačnih elemenata, te rad s problemima mehanike loma u programskom paketu ANSYS. Osnove mehanike loma su predstavljene u obliku podjele mehanike loma na linearno elastičnu, te elastično-plastičnu, te početnih izraza, sa pripadajućim crtežima, za rješavanje takvih problema mehanike loma. Metoda konačnih elemenata je predstavljena tako da su objašnjeni osnovni pojmovi konačnih elemenata, vrste konačnih elemenata, te potrebni koraci za ispravno korištenje ovakve metode. Prikazani su analitička rješenja za 3 klasična primjera mehanike loma, koji se razlikuju po obliku i položaju pukotina, te osnovnim geometrijama na kojima se pukotine nalaze. Zatim su isti primjeri riješeni pomoću metode konačnih elemenata u programskom paketu ANSYS. Rezultati klasičnih primjera mehanike loma su uspoređeni za obje korištene metode, gdje se došlo do zaključka da do odstupanja dolazi, ali su ona gotovo zanemariva, te postoji mogućnost da su nastala zbog mnogih pogreški koje se mogu pojaviti prilikom proračuna.This paper presents explanations of basic notions on fracture mechanics, analysis od fracture mechanics problems (analytical and numerical), basic notions on finite elements method and solving the fracture mechanics problems in software package ANSYS. Basics of fracture mechanics are represented in division of fracture mechanics on two areas, linear-elastic fracture mechanics and elastic-plastic fracture mechanics, with basic expressions and formulas, with associated drawings and sketches, for solving that kind of problems. Finite element method is represented in a way that basic notions of it are explained, together with types of finite elements and needed steps for correct use od this method. Analytical solutions for 3 classical examples of fracture mechanics problems are presented, the have differences in shape and position of cracks in model, and differentiate in geometries of model that contain cracks. After that the examples are solved with finite element method in software package ANSYS. Results of these classical fracture mechanics problems are compared for both used methods, and in conclusion there are some differences in the results, but they are almost neglectable, and there is a possibility that they are a result of many possible errors that can happen during the problem solving
