EMOTIONS IN HIGHER EDUCATION AND EVERYDAY LIFE: EXPERIENCE SAMPLING METHOD

Rad ne sadrži sažetak.The general aim of this study was to examine the emotions of higher education students, experienced in their everyday (student) life, which was acomplished using the Experience Sampling Method. The results show that students are more likely to experience a positive rather than a negative affect and that the most frequently experienced emotions on the scale of positive affect are joy followed by love, while fear and sadness are most frequent ones on the scale of negative affect. Moreover, the results indicate that the students experience a lower positive (higher negative) affect in academic settings or when they are faced with college related activities, while a higher positive (lower negative) affect is experienced in personal life contexts
