The results of an experimental study on the effects of temperature on mechanical properties of FRP rebars, based on vinylester resin as matrix and carbon fibers, are presented. A marked decrease in elastic modulus, tensile and bending strength with the increase of temperature occurs in the neat resin. The long-time deformability of the resin, calculated through tensile creep tests, strongly depends on temperature. A procedure of step-wise loading has been used as a control in order to check the deformation model
