Motors. Sketches on/at Zegadłowicz is a collection of three interpretations concentrating on the person of and works by Emil Zegadłowicz. The first text “And we need to be postered!”… confronts with writer’s biography that has had a significant influence on the reception of Motors and Mares. In “The chemistry of brains”… the question on the image of the author’s own writing precisely created by him was asked. The chapter Zegadłowicz’s Women… touches upon the problem of recording the writer’s biography in a literary work. An extremely strong need to come into being and consolidate himself in the literature made Zegadłowicz paradoxical.
