Searching for and discovering values in Polish folk culture, not only by folklorists and ethnographers, but also by teachers, tutors and educators, is a way of reaching back to our national roots of folk culture. In scholarly understanding, it is mainly the description of life of inhabitants of towns and villages, hardships of labour, happiness and sorrow.
