Emilia Waśniowska (1954—2005), an early deceased poet of Poznan, is an author of very reflective, touching the deepest problems of human existence, poems: they are written in a simple language, but they never simplify anything, sometimes they are even pierced by an “intense flash of pain” (Małgorzata Musierowicz’s expression). In Waśniowska’s works one may determine “spaces of tenderness”, her lessons “to the inside of matters”. These include a home and family, sacrum, landscape and nature. The whole variety of feelings and emotions: suffering, loneliness, dreams, overcoming fear, joy of life and happiness of the existence; fullness — from childhood to the time of passing, have been inscribed in this delicate, fragile, even filigree...
