The text penetrates to the heart of artistic works by A. Grzegorzewska. A figure constantly recurring in her dramaturgy is that of a rejected woman — pushed to the margins of society into the private space of a house by the patriarchal society, where she is bracketed in several stereotypical roles, e.g. that of a mother, wife and lover, which significantly constrain the space for her fulfillment. Women tend to be ostracized by the society due to their age and appearance in the main.
