In different historical periods, reference was made to the rules of correct behavior. Already in the Middle Ages and the Revival manuals began to appear on the subject. The author, who in his writings devoted a lot of space to the rules of education was Erasmus of Rotterdam (1466—1536). The reader gets to know both the rules of conduct towards teachers, priests and superiors, as well as the relevant instructions relating to eating and feasting. Erasmus’ books are a guidance of good manners and they are universal and timeless
