Wokół tożsamości przestrzennej mieszkańców województwa śląskiego

The article concerns the space identity as a dimension of the regional identity. The theoretical aspect refers to sociological ideas of regional identity. The empirical data come from research projects which were conducted in the Silesian Province in 2007—2009. The basic conclusion refers to the fact that the existence of the space identity on the regional level is hard to observe in the heterogenic Silesian Province. However some aspects of space identity exists on the local level
