The subject of the publication is a description of a cadaver, which turns out to be still alive. The author finds examples of such a state of affairs in the poetic works of Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz. The corpse of the poet is analyzed as well. It turns out that in the case of the deceased, it is possible to speak not only about their biography, but also — using the terminology of Stanisław Rosiek — the beginning of a necrography, that is the corpse’s life.
