The aim of the article is to present the possibilities of how the cultural linguisticsperspective can be used in the analysis of legal language. The author concentratesmainly on the notion of the view of world and points out in what way this notiondetermines language structure. Then the author characterizes the specific area of lawas a cultural phenomenon and presents analogies between both systems. Consequently,she develops the notion of legal view of world. According to her, this image determinesthe specifics of specialized language. This particular view determines also the structureof the language of normative texts and has influence on how this language is relatedto natural language.
