ABSTRACT in German Objective: Ziel der vorliegenden Studie war die Messung des Gesamtkörperfettes und des "Stammfett" bei übergewichtigen Kindern und Jugendlichen mittels Bioimpedanz (BIA) und Dual energy XRay (DEXA) zu vergleichen. Weiters wurde die Präzision der einzelnen Methoden vergleichsweise ermittelt. Patienten Insgesamt wurden 15 Kinder/ Jugendliche (10 m, 5 f) mit einem BMI >97 Percentile nach WHO im Alter zwischen 6 und 18 Jahren eingeschlossen. Methoden: Gesamt - Körperfett und Stammfett wurden jeweíls mittels BIA (Tanita BC 418 MA und Tanita MC 180 MA) bzw. DEXA - Technik gemessen.
