La provincia di Caserta tra opportunità mancate e nuove prospettive di sviluppo turistico

The main task of the present contribution is to identify the cause of no tourism in the province of Caserta. 104 cities are located in this province and a total of 923.113 people live on 2.639 km. The archeological, historical-artistic and landscape heritage of the province, however, cannot attract tourists and so it is still far away from being the hub of local economy. Because of the complexity in order to manage the province of Caserta, where tourism is weak and environment conditions are adverse to organized hospitality, it is necessary to implement a strategically oriented planning solution able to foster the development of the province by considering both local and global policies and tourists’ needs and demands
